A Newborn Photography Story…

Hi! I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself and tell you about Fig and Sparrow Photography LLC.

My name is Jamie. I am a wife and mother of two little kiddos. They keep me on my toes and make every day different from the last. I had been a birth Doula for several years and loved guiding and supporting parents while they transitioned into their new roles. But after the birth of my second baby back in 2017, I decided that the “on-call” life with two little ones would be too much for our household to handle. So, I sat back and rethought the path that I was taking. I decided to pivot out of birth work and into newborn photography. I still wanted to work with families, new mothers, and parents, but now I enjoy documenting and honoring this time differently. This new little person you are just getting to know will not stay little for very long. I am here for you, to capture all of the sweet smallness before it is gone.
